* Free Books For Approved LoCo Teams: Official Ubuntu Book, and Official Ubuntu Server Book. johnc4510 has already sent our request for our copies and is awaiting conformation on the order.

* Announcement: Ubuntu 8.04.3 LTS has been released for the server, desktop, and alternate installation CDs for the i386 and amd64 architectures. Karmic is now open for translation. The Ubuntu Java development team is pleased to announce completed certification of OpenJDK 6 for Ubuntu 9.04.
